CYCLOPS LABSDOCS / SLACKFILE Nº D8

Cyclops,
in the channel.

Type /cyclops and an address to post a scan into the conversation, and send the alert rules you set on Cyclops to a team channel.

CONNECT

Add it to
a channel.

Connecting opens Slack, where you pick the channel. Cyclops stores that channel’s incoming-webhook address, encrypted, against your wallet, and never shows it again, not even to you. Disconnect here or remove the app in Slack; either stops the posts.

The Slack app is not switched on for this deployment yet.

Connecting a channel opens here once it is. Your other alert channels work meanwhile.

COMMAND

/cyclops
an address.

SLACK
/cyclops 0x<token, wallet, contract or transaction hash>

Slack shows “Scanning…” to you alone, then the result posts in the channel: score and label, holders, top-10 and bundled share, what the creator holds and has sold, and the strongest flags, with a link to the full scan. A wallet, contract or transaction links to its report.

The command answers anyone in a workspace that installed the app; it reads public chain data only, up to 30 scans an hour per workspace. A scan describes the chain at one moment. It is not a safety guarantee and not financial advice.

ALERTS

Rules to
channels.

In an alert rule, add Slack to its channels (alert inbox, or channels: ["slack"] on POST /v1/me/rules). The same lines every other channel gets post to each channel your wallet connected. Quiet hours, mutes and the minimum tier hold Slack posts the same way they hold Telegram and email; the inbox always keeps a copy.

If Slack says the app was removed from a channel, that connection is dropped. Test delivery with POST /v1/me/alerts/test {"channel":"slack"}; it says why when nothing was sent.

SECURITY

What is
checked.

Every slash command is verified against Slack’s signing secret (HMAC-SHA256 over the timestamp and body, compared in constant time) and refused when it is more than five minutes old. The install round trip carries a signed, ten-minute state bound to your wallet. Cyclops only posts to hooks.slack.com addresses Slack issued.

Permissions requested: commands and incoming-webhook. The app cannot read messages. The manifest is in the repository at integrations/slack/manifest.yml.
